Awesome Donation

I'm so excited that I received a case of wine for the wedding, generously donated by www.nakedwines.com!  It makes me so happy and grateful to see companies who partake in my happiness and express kindness towards others.  This is the epitome of customer service and I highly recommend that people visit their website and try their delicious wines!

Relief!

We have out florist (and no more searching for vendors finally)!  I met with a couple of florists and the one I fell in love with was Floral Design Studio.  The owner is totally awesome!  She's incredibly creative and the ideas she came up with wowed me! I am so excited to hire her as the florist!

I can't tell you how relieved I am for not having to meet with any more vendors.  That was a kind of long process and now I can focus on decorations.  I really admire wedding and event planners because it is A LOT of work.  

Less than 6 months till the wedding.  Can't believe how fast time is flying.  I love my baby and I can't wait to be Mrs. Coleman :-)

Awesome Pastor

Michael and I started going to new member classes at our church.  Our pastor is totally awesome!  He is very down to earth and has a great sense of humor.  On Easter he will announce us as official members of the church.

Everything is falling into line.  I feel like things are going smoothly.  It's a lot of work but I think on the day of the wedding my baby and I won't have to worry about anything.

Engagement Session

On Sunday, Michael and I had our engagement photo session with the awesome photographer Rich.  We had a wonderful time.  Our photographer is calm and knows how to put people at ease.  Michael even enjoyed working with him.  Awesome Rich put the pictures up yesterday.  I was so amazed he got them up so quickly.  Michael and I posted them on the website and shared it with friends and family.  The photos are so beautiful.  

Even though I have been feeling tired with all the wedding planning lately, it is a positive stress.  This engagement session was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to marry Michael.

Extra Help

Wedding planning is very stressful.  It's a positive stress, but it is a stress.  To help alleviate that, I started contemplating to hire a day of wedding coordinator.  My sister told me it was a good idea to hire a planner because it helps you out a lot. I talked to a couple of planners and decided to go with the fabulous Jessica Harris.  I love her.  When I spoke to her, I felt really good about her.  I felt like I can trust her and I wouldn't have anything to worry about the day of the wedding.    

My Awesome Photographer

Today I spoke to my photographer.  His name is Rich.  He called me to discuss the upcoming engagement session.  I'm really looking forward to this.  He seems very professional and I like the fact that his style is traditional.  Michael and I decided to have out engagement photos taken at the Japanese Gardens in Hayward.  It is such a beautiful place.  I think the pictures are going to come out lovely.

Saying YES to the dress

I finally got the dress of my dreams!  It is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!  I love today!!  I met all my bridesmaids and my momma in law at David's Bridal and finally purchased the ONE!  And guess who found it?  My wonderful cousin Julie (she's about to get her degree in social work but I think she would make a great fashion designer as well since she found my sister's wedding dress too).  OMG it was so easy to find.  I tried on 4 dresses and the one I purchased was the first one I tried.  Everyone loved it.  I tried on the 3 other dresses, but none of them compared to the first one.  It took no more than 20 minutes to make my decision (LOL, it was nothing like Say Yes To The Dress, absolutely no drama).  We had so much time my bridesmaids were able to look at and try on dresses.  

Today was one of the happiest days of my life.  I felt so beautiful.  When I got home my baby was there and I couldn't stop telling him I love you (LOL, I probably told him I love you at least 50 times).  I know when I walk down the aisle my baby is going to be so happy (he's going to be proud to show off his woman).  

Today was a wonderful day.  Truly one of the best.  I'm in total bliss :-)
